Sourcing & Procurement Service
Boundless Business Services (BBS) provides procurement services to clients as per their requirement meeting the standards and defined quality procedures
The services include;
- Preparation of Material Requisition for LSTK clients and Direct Charger Purchase Requisition for Direct Saudi Aramco/Owner.
- Providing suitable Commodity numbers to the materials with their applicable Standards in case of Saudi Aramco providing the 9COM number along with its applicable Saudi Aramco Material System Specification (SAMSS), Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedures (SAEP), Saudi Aramco Inspection requirements (IR-175 form) and Non material requirements (NMR) along with approved manufacturer’s list.
- Determining the best suitable inspection level for the Saudi Aramco materials with reference to the latest Saudi Aramco engineering procedure (SAEP-1151) and the applicable inspection 175 forms. In cases where there are no Saudi Aramco inspection 175-forms we can support in preparing special 175 inspection form with reference to the material’s technical requirement and industrial standards.
- Preparing purchase requisition’s which would consists of all the major technical and commercial requirements, this document can be used to float out to approved manufacturers for technical and commercial bids.
- Receiving bids from the manufacturers / vendors and arranging them accordingly i.e. the technical bid would be forwarded to the technical team for their review and comments if any and the commercial bit is been reviewed and commented accordingly by the procurement team.
- Our team finalizes / recommends the P.O award to our clients based on the best technical and commercial scoring achieved by the manufacturers / vendors at the time of evaluation.
- The team have expeditors who then take the responsibilities of the particular P.O’s and initiate communication with the manufacturer / vendor for the vendor documents, inspection documents and delivery schedule which are required by the technical, quality and Planners for their review and approval.
- The expediting team has a very strong follow up methodology for the respective manufacturer / vendor which helps to keep in track of the materials update conditions.
- The expediting team has the responsibilities which are related to the documents, inspections, manufacturing processes and delivery to the site.
- The expediting team provides its utmost support to the material receiving team with the means of documents and reports.
- The expediting team also is involved in the having the materials final record book complied and submitted to the client for their record purposes.
- Our team provides a suitable report at each stage which helps keep track of the materials and they ensure that all the activities have been documented, processed and filed to achieve the transparency and auditability.
The other capability is to provide a Saudi Aramco Approved Procurement Quality Control Supervisor (PQCS).
